MyTi: Course runs in and around local washes. Short but tight with some fairways sloping towards trouble. Greens undulating and fair. If in the area, give it a shot.
Malibu: Very nice layout. Demands accurate tee shots to stay out of trouble. Fairways were in good shape, but narrow. Greens were in good shape, fast and hard to read. For the money, fun course to play.
Stone: Narrow, short course in Sun City/Surprise area. Greens, fairways, and sand traps all in good shape, but had those strange cayman balls on the range. Big patio for telling stories about your golf round, such as the “good shot, bad result” (?) comment we heard after we finished. Not sure how you can have a bad result from a good shot, but there it is. Did I mention the course is narrow? Golfers with hooks or a slice should bring plenty of balls, but it is mercifully short even though it did not feel like a short course. Worth playing if in the area, and quite enjoyable.
