Comments

Malibu: For the money we spent we can’t complain too much. The fairways were rough, and tees were also in rough condition. Greens were in nice condition, sand traps had sand in them. Overall fun experience. Updated March, 2010: I have played this course a few times before, and wasn’t impressed with the condition. This time was different, in that the course was in great shape overall. Fairways, greens, sand traps in great shape.

QuickBuck: Updated March, 2010: : First time on this course and I was pleasantly surprised. The only improvement would be to the rough. If you are off the fairway you are in dirt. After thee days of rain it was mud. The greens can be brutal with pin placement. Today they were tough but in great shape. Great views of the Superstition Mountains.

Bone: Sort of a winter visitor place. Very flat and holes are dangerously arranged … So Fore! Greens are inconsistent. Close to highway 60 and busy streets…very noisy, not a relaxing experience.

Stone: True desert course. Patchy greens. Somewhat narrow fairways. U.S. 60 on one side, Baseline on the other, and Ironwood Street to the South. Lots of cars going by! But you get a beautiful view of the Superstitions, which sort of balances it out. Okay, maybe just a little. The price was great for the quality of course and time of year. Updated March, 2010: The course was in better than usual condition after the recent rain. Nice people, interesting layout even though flat. From the tips it can be a challenge if you want it to be. Always reasonably priced. Still a lot of road noise from US 60 and Ironwood.
