Sub: Early fall conditions, greens over-seeded and slow. Course in very good shape. Two more weeks and greens should be rolling normal.
MyTi: Traditional type course. Large elevated greens, but they can put pins in some smaller areas. Much improved over old course. All types of holes with a variety of lengths. Fun to play.
Slick: Sometimes confusing tee box from the Blue course. Elevated greens so adjust accordingly. Need to play after over-seeding has been mowed.
Stone: Very nice course in Litchfield. Gold is my favorite, but this is definitely better than the Red course. Course in great shape, greens a little slow after over-seeding. Nice layout except tricked up Number 17 over canal. Very long par 4 eighteen. Very short course in most respects but exceedingly long par threes on some holes from the back tees to go with number eighteen. Don’t let the yardage fool you – It can be a challenge to score well from the back. A nice course, and if the Wigwam Gold is a “must play”, the Blue course is a “should play”. |
