Bone: In poor condition. Very short resort course. Great for tourists. Very challenging par 3's...long. In winter very expensive. Different style than most courses. Mostly played by hotel guests.
QuickBuck: A must play Arizona destination. A vast collection of flowers, cactus and palm trees. No homes come into play. The fairways were in poor shape, like all courses suffering from summer heat. $29.00 plus tax was a great price, but $10.00 hot dogs offset the bargain.
Malibu: This course is a beautiful course to play most of the year. Summer temps take their toll on fairway grass, but greens and sand traps were in good shape. You can’t beat the summer rates. Overall enjoyable experience.
Stone: Nice resort course, but confusing layout. Poor course condition typical of summer. Greens were slow but true, and the best “holding” greens we have played in six months. Don’t really like course, but everyone should play once. |
