Malibu: This course is a fair course in that your average golfer can enjoy the play. Fairways were in okay condition. Greens were good, sand traps were in need of work. Overall fun experience.
QuickBuck: Course is in average condition for mid-summer. Nice clubhouse and restaurant. With three9 hole courses to mix for 18 holes, it can be a different course for several rounds.
Ralphy: Classic old Scottsdale course. Beautiful scenery. Course was not in good condition, but most aren’t in July. Enjoyable course to play.
Stone: It was a sultry July day – wait a minute – I’m not MyTi!
Short Scottsdale course. Three nine’s for a mix and match day depending on the course maintenance, tournament schedule, and the whims of the pro shop. One really weird par 4 hole on the Squire course where the tee box was situated in such a fashion that you had to hit a drive not more than 15 feet high (or in the other fairway) else you will hit the tree 30 yards in front of it. Very strange, but then, we were in Scottsdale. Great restaurant and a fun round on a course in probably below average condition for the summer. Have played here in the winter and it was beautiful! |
