Bone: A nice winter course for visitors. Not difficult… greens flat and large. Course surrounded by homes. Restaurant very good and staff is attentive and courteous. A nice place to play.
Malibu: This is a fun experience for average golfers. The fairways are fair, greens are in good shape. Thankfully sand traps are few. This would be a good family experience.
QuickBuck: Course was in good shape coming off six months of summer. I would avoid the course mainly because the houses are too close and no driving range. Soon there will be houses built on the closed executive course adding to the congestion. The cost for playing here should always be one third the cost of a resort course. If the cheap price is important, this is the course for you.
Stone: Very short course. Have a great steak & dinner combination in the summer if you can stand the heat. Good restaurant and staff. Practice green was painted green and no driving range as they built homes on the old one! Well known golf school on premises. This is not a destination golf resort (except for the school) but mostly for local retired folks and beginners. |
