Malibu: This is a nice course for the money. Fairways were in nice shape, greens were in good shape, sand traps had sand in them. This is a fun experience overall, one thing needed is yardage markers.
QuickBuck: An above average Sub-Division Course. Greens are large and crowned. They can be very tough if they were fast. No cart service and the bar closed early, must not want the business. Houses all around the front nine. Back nine is surrounded by dirt, soon to be houses.
MyTi: Good value, very playable layout. Par 5’s and par 3’s are its strength. A couple short risk reward 4’s. Greens undulating but very grainy.
Stone: Course in great condition mid May. Tee boxes were level with perfect grass. Long par 3’s, and huge greens with Machiavellian pin placements. Cruel, but fair. Beverage cart person disappeared after first three holes, never to be seen again. Hope she is all right. The restaurant personnel must have been out looking for her, because they were gone, too, when we finished the round. Have eaten at the restaurant before, good food. Nice course, good price, worth the trip from Phoenix a few times. |
