Malibu: The fairways were in good condition, the sand traps had enough sand in them to improve your chances of getting the ball out. The greens seemed to shed any shots hitting them, due to hard conditions.
Bone: Inane pin positions on tricked out greens. Each green has some undulation that when pin is placed there, it is near impossible to stop ball. When a good approach is made, it is difficult to hold ball near pin. Course is in good condition overall and is generally very playable. Service at pro shop and restaurant is sub-standard. When finally delivered, the food is edible. Practice facilities were good.
Stone: Very windy day. Restaurant so slow one of the customers had to get his meal and so brought mine to my table. Pro shop a little unfriendly. Best practice facilities around though.
Bassman: Good improvements of original course. The road construction is temporarily a pain. There weren’t enough people to give good service. |
