Malibu: This is a difficult, but beautiful golf course. Overall condition of this course was good. Only exception was inconsistent sand traps. Greens were in nice shape, fairways were also nice. 19 hole eases the pain.
QuickBuck: Great Scottsdale course. In good shape for mid summer. Greens are hard to read. The pin placement can be considered unfair if they want them to be. The houses around the course are far enough away and don’t take away from the look of a nice desert course.
MyTi: One of my favorite courses. Each hole offers privacy from other holes. Need to use some thought off tee and hit a variety of clubs. One of the must plays if you are here on vacation.
Stone: I must not like to think because this course is not one I would bother to play again. Having said that, fairways were the best we have seen all summer, and the greens were okay but not great. A true desert course winding through washes and cacti, seems sort of secluded as you can’t really see any other holes except the one you are playing. Restaurant outstanding, and the people nice, but I just don’t understand why people like this course. Give me We-Ko-Pa or one of at least 20 other courses in the valley I would rather play before this one, but you should play at least once to see what you think. |
